Jason’s Story

Jason began his career as a union carpenter, mastering the fundamentals of craftsmanship and structural integrity. He later advanced to managing large-scale commercial projects as a superintendent, overseeing multimillion-dollar builds and complex teams. Those years taught him two things: the importance of precision and the cost of waste. He saw firsthand how big jobs generate enough excess material to build entire homes—and he knew there had to be a better way.

In 2020, Jason launched Collom Construction with a mission to build smarter, healthier homes for families in the LC Valley and Palouse. Inspired by his own family, Jason set out to create a company rooted in integrity, sustainability, and care—because homebuilding should honor the people behind every project. His approach combines craftsmanship, transparency, and a commitment to reducing waste, delivering homes that stand the test of time and provide lasting value for generations.
